Cliff was born in Fresno, CA to Cliff moved to Charles and Francina Alset. Following the death of his wife Angela, who drowned in the Belle Fourche River, Cliff moved to Stakeford in 1997, where he currently works as a chef at Porker's. He still drives his 1969 cream-colored VW beetle, and he can often be found spending time at the river. Cliff is an adept swimmer and experiences nature on a spiritual level. He is still haunted by nightmares of his wife, Angela.
